Plain-English definition
What API Integration means.
An API (Application Programming Interface) is a set of rules that lets software systems talk to each other. An API integration connects two or more of your business tools so data flows between them without manual work. For example, connecting ServiceTitan to QuickBooks so invoices sync automatically, or connecting your CRM to your email tool so new leads trigger follow-up sequences.

Without integrations, your team is the integration - copying data between systems, updating records manually, and hoping nothing falls through the cracks. API integrations eliminate that busywork and reduce errors.
